Biography
Jules Winchester has been writing music for a little over 20 years. It is only recently with great encouragement from those around her that she has finally come to share her talent with the world, and has become inspired to create more of what she does best - write.
Jules has written, recorded and produced a number of songs. Everything you hear on the songs from instruments to vocals is Jules, apart from on 'The Book', where electric guitars, drums and bass are played by Dave Beeson.
In 2009 Jules came into contact with the singer Doris Brendel, from 90's band The Violet Hour and daughter of world acclaimed pianist Alfred Brendel. Doris was in the process of recording a new album and invited Jules to join in on backing vocals. This Jules willingly obliged. You can hear Jules on Doris's 'The Last Adventure' album.
Jules was continuing to write when Doris suggested she have a song recorded by Doris' producer Dave Beeson. After a few days recording and with Doris providing backing vocals, 'The Book' was the result.
Over the past couple of years, Jules has performed at a number of acoustic music venues in Sussex. These include The Willows Folk Club, Findon Acoustic Club, Coolham Acoustic Club, and the Way Out West Country Music Club. Jules has also played a number of private functions.

In 2011 Jules' songs 'The Book', 'I Can See An Angel' and 'Soul' all reached the semi - finals in the prestigious U.K. Songwriting Contest. 'The Book' in the Pop category, 'I Can See An Angel' in the Acoustic category and 'Soul' in the Adult Contemporary category. Also 2011 Jules released her much-acclaimed first album which has been greatly recognised by the music press. And selling copies not only in the U.K. but also Europe. And with a '4 Star' review in the leading U.K. Country music magazine 'Maverick'.
Jules has collaborated on the song 'Cry Of The Underclass' with video directer Neil Winnington.
2012 , Jules had the honour of meeting and being mentored by the wonderful singer Sam Brown, who gave some valuable advice. Sam was impressed with Jules recording and releasing her debut album by herself and described what she has achieved as ‘Brilliant!’.
Jules continues to write and produce her own material.
